Wide takes two in Cannes

Loic Magneron’s sales outfit Wide has picked up LGBT drama The Skinny and Russian-language title Gulf Stream Under the Iceberg from director Yevgeny Pashkevich.

The Skinny, directed by Patrick-Ian Polks, follows five friends during a tumultuous gay pride march in New York. Jussie Smollett stars in the production from Tall Skinny Black Boy productions in association with Logo Features. Pashkevich’s drama is a philosophical parable based on a novel by French writer Anatole France.
