Vladimir Perisic of France's FEMIS won the VFF Young Talent Award for his 31-minute short Dremano Oko at this year's International Festival of the Film Schools in Munich (November 27-30).
The other awards included: the Student Camera Award for Dutch DoP Martijn van Broekhuizen's cinematography on Jiska Rickels' Days Under (NFTA); the newly created Luggi Waldleitner Script Award for Israeli students Mihal Brezis and Oded Binnun's Sabbath Entertainment (Sam Spiegel Film & Television School); Rolf Zehetbauer Support Award for best production design to Emily Harris for Jonathan Bentovim's Machine (London Film School); and the ProSieben Newcomer Award (for best direction in a German film) to Ulrike Groze for One-Way Ticket (Hamburg Film Workshop).
