Two of the Berlinale's "Vision Day" panelists have revealed details of the new projects they are hatching.

Terry Gilliam, in town for Lost In La Mancha, will serve as executive producer on the Quay Brothers' long-anticipated second feature The Piano Tuner Of Earthquakes.

"Audiences are searching for a chance to journey into completely new, untravelled, mind-stimulating universes'the very kind of films the Brothers Quay create", said Gilliam.

UK producer Keith Griffiths of Koninck/Illuminations has been joined by Mediopolis' Alexander Ris as German co-producer for the film which will be shot in German studios from early 2003. The Quays are currently designing the set and are engaged in initial casting. Celluloid Dreams will serve as co-producer and world sales agent.

Meanwhile, German director Max Färberböck is planning a feature film on the aftermath of September 11. Berlin-based zero film will produce.
