Karl Urban, Willow Shields from The Hunger Games franchise and Taiwan’s Leehom Wang will star in the upcoming 3D family adventure.

Ron Underwood will direct from a screenplay by Ashley Sidaway, Robert Sidaway and Lindsay Edmonds about teenagers who race to prevent a natural catastrophe after they take a ride inside a rainbow and emerge in China, where they fall foul of the authorities and a shadowy organisation.  

Production is scheduled to kick off in March 2013 in China and New Zealand. Robert Sidaway, Iain Brown, Steve Sachs and Chun-Yi Yueh produce and James M Vernon of Media Funds Management and Hyde Park chief Ashok Amitraj serve as executive producers.

Pixomondo will create the special effects and recently garnered an Academy Award for their work on Hugo and an Emmy Award for Game Of Thrones.
