Independent production outfit 33Story will tour its debut feature film, Big Font, Large Spacing, on a self-built cinema screen across a number of UK university campuses at the end of September.
The film will be shown on the company’s self-built 3 metre outdoor cinema screen, transported in the back of a 1983 VW camper. 33Story will visit 17 universities, including Oxford, UCL, Brunel, Sheffield, Bristol and Cardiff.
Writer/Director Paul Howard Allen of 33Story said of the project, called ‘2D Cinema’: “2D cinema is about challenging conventional distribution models which give small independent film makers a pretty raw deal”.
Big Font, Large Spacing, which world-premiered at the Atlanta Film Festival, is a comedy about two slacker psychology students who have to complete a 5000-word essay in 12 hours to avoid failing their degrees.
