Dave Bautista will star in the irreverent sci-fi Universe’s Most Wanted for AGC Studios, which will launch worldwide sales with CAA Media Finance in the coming weeks.
Production has been earmarked for spring 2021 and Brad Peyton (Rampage, San Andreas), will direct the story from a screenplay by F. Scott Frazier (xXx: Return of Xander Cage) and Jimmy Loweree.
When a spaceship carrying the universe’s most wanted and dangerous criminals crash-lands in a small town, the sheriff’s son becomes a hero when he finds himself helping an intergalactic peacekeeper (Bautista) to keep the ragtag group of alien prisoners from taking over the world.
Peyton will produce via his production company ASAP Entertainment, along with ASAP’s Jeff Fierson.
Bautista (Guardians Of The Galaxy franchise, Dune, Spectre) will also produce through his production company Dream Bros Entertainment, along with Dream Bros’ Jonathan Meisner.
AGC Studios will provide producing services. AGC’s VP of legal and business affairs Anant Tamirisa negotiated the deal on behalf of AGC alongside CAA with Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern on behalf of Peyton, and Jackoway Austen Tyerman Wertheimer Mandelbaum Morris Bernstein Trattner & Klein on behalf of Bautista.
