‘Nanny’

Blumhouse Television and Prime Video have acquired worldwide rights to Nikyatu Jusu’s Nanny, which in January became the first horror selection to win the festival’s grand jury prize.

The US Dramatic Competition entry stars Anna Diop (Us) as a Senegalese immigrant who tries to build a new life as a nanny to a wealthy family in New York and is forced to confront a secret that threatens to shatter her American Dream.

Michelle Monaghan, Sinqua Walls, Morgan Spector and Rose Decker also star.

Nikkia Moulterie and Daniela Taplin Lundberg of Stay Gold Features produced Nanny and executive producers are Maria Zuckerman of Topic Studios, Grace Lay and Sumalee Montano of LinLay Productions, Jusu, Ryan Heller and Michael Bloom for Topic Studios, Rebecca Cammarata for Stay Gold Features, and Jason Blum, Chris McCumber and Jeremy Gold for Blumhouse Television.

CAA Media Finance negotiated the deal for Topic Studios, Stay Gold Features and LinLay Productions. Prime Video and Blumhouse Television established their Welcome To The Blumhouse label in 2019.
