Mandate Pictures has rounded out the ensemble cast for Miley Cyrus coming-of-age comedy LOL, which recently began shooting in Michigan.

The film, writer/director Lisa Azuelos’ US version of her 2008 French hit Laughing Out Loud, co-stars Demi Moore, with Ashley Greene (Twilight) and Thomas Jane (The Punisher) now also confirmed.

Joining the cast are Douglas Booth (Worried About the Boy), Adam Sevani (Step Up 3D), George Finn (How I Met Your Mother), Ashley Hinshaw (Gossip Girl), Lina Esco (CSI: New York) and newcomer Tanz Watson.

Also appearing are Jay Hernandez, Marlo Thomas, Austin Nichols, Gina Gershon, Fisher Stevens and Nora Dunn.

Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher of Double Feature Films and Tish Cyrus are producing. Mandate president Nathan Kahane, Lisa Azuelos and Romain Le Grand are the executive producers.

After its Michigan shoot the project moves on to locations in Chicago and Paris.
