NL Wave, the two-day international showcase of upcoming features, documentaries and animation from the Netherlands, will return for a second edition to be held in Utrecht from October 1-2.
Festival programmers, sales agents and international industry professionals will be invited to attend to receive a first-look at upcoming titles in development or production from both emerging and established filmmakers from the Netherlands.
The pilot event in 2025 turned the spotlight on films including Muriel d’Ansembourg’s debut feature Truly Naked, now screening as part of the Berlinale Perspectives programme, and Mees Peijnenburg’s English-language feature A Family, starring Carice van Houten which is selected for Generations.
