All five major studios have signed on to participate in the delayed 2021 CinemaCon, which will take place in person in Las Vegas under strict Covid protocols from August 23-26.

The official convention of the National Association Of Theatre Owners (NATO), which was cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic, is set to run at Caesar’s Palace and will feature presentations from Disney/Fox, Warner Bros, Universal, Sony, and Paramount.

Also confirmed at time of writing were Lionsgate, Focus Features, and MGM/UA Releasing. It emerged this week that Amazon is buying MGM.

Show attendees will be required to present proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test conducted within 48 hours of collecting credentials, whereupon they will receive a wristband that must be worn at all CinemaCon events.

CinemaCon will announce further details in due course.
