James Marsden has joined the cast of the Lakeshore Entertainment and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment comedy Walk of Shame, taking a leading role alongside Elizabeth Banks.

The film, about the misadventures of a news anchor on her way to a job interview, was written by Steven Brill, who will also direct. Lakeshore’s Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi will produce alongside Sidney Kimmel

FilmDistrict will distribute in the US. Lakeshore and Sierra/Affinity recently kicked-off international sales at November’s American Film Market.

Marsden recently starred in Bachelorette and Robot and Frank and will be seen next year in 2 Guns and The Butler. He is represented by WME and Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
