UK sales and distribution company is backed by a multi-million pound theatrical P&A Fund.
Meridian Films have announced that they will launch at this year’s EFM.
Established in November 2013, the new UK sales and distribution company is backed by a multi-million pound theatrical P&A Fund created to support, via private financing, UK films and film-makers to ensure that they have access to the best PR, marketing and advertising support.
The first project to receive the support of their private P&A Fund will be announced during the EFM.
Terry Stone [pictured] of Meridian Films commented: “I am thrilled to be announcing this new venture and to be able to offer a service to support outstanding product to ensure it receives the theatrical platform it deserves. I am excited to announce our first project which will see Meridian partner with a major Hollywood studio.”
Meridian are at the EFM to look for original feature length content unsold in the UK and are keen to take meetings with producers following today’s launch.
