Charismata

Raven Banner has secured worldwide rights to the British occult thriller Charismata heading into next week’s AFM in Santa Monica.

Andy Collier and Toor Mian directed the film, which is described as being in the vein of Se7en and The Silence Of The Lambs.

Charismata tells the story of a detective who slips slowly into madness as she investigates a series of ritualistic murders.

Collier also served as producer and his Loose Cannon Films partnered with Raven Banner in the paranoia-infused psychological horror story.

Managing partners Michael Paszt and James Fler of Toronto-based genre specialists Raven Banner brokered the deal with Collier.

The AFM sales slate includes the First World War film Trench 11 starring Rossif Sutherland as a tunneller who leads a group of Allied soldiers on a mission beneath the trenches to stop a German plot that could turn the tide of the war.
