Searchlight Pictures has set release dates for Hulu Originals Good Luck To You, Leo Grande, Fire Island and Not Okay.
All three films will stream exclusively as Hulu Originals in the US and Fire Island and Not Okay will stream internationally on Disney+ as Star Originals.
Sundance hit Good Luck To You, Leo Grande directed by Sophie Hyde and starring Emma Thompson and Daryl McCormack will be released on June 17. The story centres on a retired school teacher who hires a male escort in the hopes of finally having great sex.
Rom-com Fire Island directed by Andrew Ahn will debut on June 3. Inspired by Jane Austen’s Pride And Prejudice the story follows two best friends who set out to enjoy a legendary week-long summer vacation in Fire Island Pines in New York state. Joel Kim Booster, Bowen Yang, Margaret Cho and Conrad Ricamora are among the cast.
Not Okay directed and written by Quinn Shephard stars Zoey Deutch and Dylan O’Brien and will open on August 5. The story follows an aspiring internet influencer who gets the status she wants after a terrifying incident occurs on a trip in Paris. Eventually her version of events catches up with her. Mia Isaac also stars.
Searchlight recently dated Martin McDonagh’s The Banshees Of Inisherin starring Colin Farrell, Barry Keoghan, Brendan Gleeson and Kerry Condon for a limited theatrical release on October 21.
