Protagonist is launching sales in Cannes on the film, which has wrapped in Canada and Slovakia.
Charlie Tahan and Alyssa Wapanatâhk also star in the film, which is set in 1922 on a remote lighthouse island off the stormy British Columbia coast. It focuses on the tumultuous relationship between two men who are pitted against one another when a shipwreck delivers a sole survivor.

The thriller is written and executive produced by Graeme Manson, whose credits include Snowpiercer and Orphan Black.
Canadian Campanelli’s credits as director include 2017 Toronto Film Festival premiere Indian Horse. Through his work as a camera operator, he also has credits on Martin McDonagh’s Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and his upcoming Wild Horse Nine.
Executive producers include Omar Chalabi and Michael O’Leary from Elevation Pictures, Blair Ward, Anders Erdén, Lauren Case, Del Mondor from Orogen Entertainment, and Dave Bishop, George Hamilton and James Pugh from Protagonist Pictures.

“As Vancouver-based producers, we are thrilled to bring Graeme Manson’s iconic West Coast script to life,” said Dolman, producer and president, Screen Siren Pictures. “We have assembled an amazing, talented cast and crew in Bratislava and Canada to tell this extraordinary story,” added producer Haebler.
