Odyssey Entertainment has announced details on a number of high-profile titles on its sales slate ahead of Berlin's European Film Market.

The titles are: Lone Scherfig's An Education; John Crowley's Is There Anybody There'; Stephan Elliot's Easy Virtue;and Andy Cadiff's A Bunch of Amateurs.

An Education, in pre-production, will star Peter Sarsgaard, Carey Mulligan, Emma Thompson and Jim Broadbent. Nick Hornby wrote the script about a 17-year-old girl who meets an older man in 1960 London. Finola Dwyer and Amanda Posey will produce.

Is There Anybody There', Crowley 's follow-up to his acclaimed Berlinale Panorama title Boy A, is in post-production now with BBC Films. Michael Caine stars with David Morrissey, Anne-Marie Duff and Leslie Phillips. Little Miss Sunshine veterans Peter Saraf and Marc Turtletaub produce with Harry Potter producer David Heyman. Peter Harness wrote the original script about a young boy who lives in an old people's home and strikes up a friendship with a retired magician.

For Easy Virtue, Odyssey is handling international sales while Ealing Studios International handles the US deal. That film, shooting now, stars Jessica Biel, Colin Firth and Kristen Scott Thomas. Ealing's Barnaby Thompson is producing with Joseph Abrams. Elliott adapted the Noel Coward play with Sheridan Jobbins,in the story of aglamorous American woman who finds problems with her new English inlaws.

A Bunch of Amateurs, in pre-production, stars Burt Reynolds, Imelda Staunton, Samantha Bond and Derek Jacobi. Shakespeare In Love's David Parfitt produces and the script is by Private Eye editor Ian Hislop and Spitting Image's Nick Newman based on the original screenplay by Jonathan Gershfield and John Ross. Reynolds plays an aging Hollywood hero who attempts to revive his career with a Shakespearean production in a small English village.
