The inaugural festival’s honorees will include Directors Guild Of America president Michael Apted, Virginia Madsen, Diego Luna, Melissa Leo and director Nicolas Echevarria.

The awards will be presented during the Baja International Film Festival’s closing night gala on Nov 17 at the Cabo Convention Center.

The festival is scheduled to run in Cabo, Mexico, from Nov 14-17 and will screen 80 films from 18 countries.
