The two companies will develop a slate of factual television projects for the UK, US and Canadian markets.

Entertainment One (eOne)’s television division is teaming up with UK TV production company Impossible Pictures to co-develop a slate of projects for the UK, US and Canadian markets, as part of eOne’s bid to strengthen its global presence.

eOne and Impossible recently collaborated on World War II television series, D-Day to Victory/The Last War Heroes (Canadian and UK titles respectively).

New projects in the works include Traffic, Martian Wars and The First – A WW1 Series.

“I’m looking forward to the innovative and exciting developments ahead.  eOne takes a collaborative, teamwork-driven approach to making television. They have a wide scope of business over a great number of territories but do an impressive job at making each partner their most important,” said Impossible Pictures’ MD Jonathan Drake.

“We’re thrilled to deepen our relationship with Impossible and want to build upon the success of our recent co-production,” said Michael Kot, senior vice president factual, Entertainment One Television.
