As it gets more involved in Swedish production, Scanbox Entertainment has announced details of three new Swedish features it is co-producing.

The move into co-production includes the films Iskariot, directed by Miko Lazic and produced in cooperation with Ironwood Films, Tjuvarnas Marknad by Jan Guillou, which will start shooting in the winter 2007/2008 and produced in cooperation with Omega Film, and Sma Citroner Gula, by Kajsa Ingemarsson, that will start shooting in the spring of 2008, directed by Ella Lemhagen and produced in cooperation with Casa Nova Film.

Scanbox is also the theatrical and DVD distributor of the films in the Nordic Countries.

'Scanbox has a strong position in theatrical and DVD distribution in the Nordic Countries and is also successful in co-producing motion pictures in Denmark and Norway. Now we want to take part and invest in the Swedish feature film,' said Nicklas Bengtsson, Managing Director of Scanbox Entertainment.

Scanbox has also acquired the option rights to make a dilm based on Magdalena Graaf's book Det Ska Bli Ett Sant Noje Att Doda Dig. The project will be developed together with Casa Nova.
