UK cinema advertising leader Digital Cinema Media (DCM) has appointed Steve Davis as Head of Exhibition.

The newly created role will see him dedicated to working with exhibitors on new dynamic commercial opportunities in the digital age. He reports to CEO Simon Rees.

Prior to DCM, he worked at Clear Channel for nine years, and previously for Haymarket Media Group and Incisive Media.

Simon Rees, CEO, Digital Cinema Media says: “Steve’s blend of organisational skills and commercialism will be a great asset to DCM and in particular our Exhibition team. As DCM focuses on developing its cross-platform portfolio, Steve will be critical in spearheading our partnerships with Exhibitors to create valuable opportunities for brands.”

Davis added: “Digital Cinema Media is about more than simply selling spots on screen. New initiatives such as alternative content and introduction of bars are helping transform cinema into an experience, a destination and a venue. I’m really excited about how this can help grow the medium even further.”
