Paris-based Memento Films International has taken on international sales to This Is The End, the new $13m (Euros 10m) end-of-the-world epic from Arnaud and Jean-Marie Larrieu.
Produced by veteran Bruno Pesery in association with Backup Films through their Coficup fund, the film stars Matthieu Amalric, Sergi Lopez, Catherine Frot and Sabine Azema and marks the most ambitious project from the brothers to date.
Currently in post-production, it should be ready for delivery in spring. Memento is showing a promo-reel here.
The film is set during the last days on earth, just as a global apocalypse is set to destroy all mankind. Amalric plays a man who sets out on a journey from France to Spain, searching for the woman he once madly loved.
