The Sundance Film Festival announced its short film winners on Tuesday [25] at a ceremony in Park City.

The jury prize in short filmmaking went to Matt Piedmont’s Brick Novax Pt 1 and 2, while the international prize was awarded to Ariel Kleiman’s Deeper Than Yesterday.

Earlier in the day the Sundance Institute and Mahindra unveiled the winners of the inaugural Sundance Institute|Mahindra Global Filmmaking Award in recognition and support of emerging independent filmmakers from around the world.

The winning directors and projects are: Bogdan Mustata’s Wolf from Romania, Ernesto Contreras’ I Dream In Another Languagefrom Mexico, Seng Tat Liew’s In What City Does It Live?from Malaysia and Talya Lavie’s Zero Motivation from Israel.
