The American Film Institute’s ‘almanac’ of the year’s outstanding achievements in film and television will be unveiled on Jan 10 2014 and honourees will be announced on Dec 9.
The deadline for television submissions is Oct 25 and film submissions in Oct 31.
The AFI’s 2012 films of the year were Argo, Beasts Of The Southern Wild, The Dark Knight Rises, Django Unchained, Les Miserables, Life Of Pi (pictured), Lincoln, Moonrise Kingdom, Silver Linings Playbook and Zero Dark Thirty.
