The Munich-based sales agent will be having market screenings for the first time of:

Robert Dornhelm's $ 6.4m (Euros 5m) production of the Puccini opera La Boheme with star singers Anna Netrebko and Rolando Villazon, which has been released so far in Austria (Constantin Film) and Germany (NFP/Warner);

Nicolai Rohde's drama 10 Seconds, inspired by real events following a mid-air collision over Lake Constance in 2002, with a cast headed by Marie Bäumer (The Counterfeiters), Hannah Herzsprung (Four Minutes) and Sebastian Blomberg (The Baader Meinhof Complex);

The animated production Moonbeam Bear, which is based on an internationally successful children's book series and has been seen by over 300,000 German cinema-goers in its first two weeks of release; and Max Färberböck's Second World War drama A Woman In Berlin, starring Nina Hoss (Jerichow), about the raping of German women by Russian soldiers in 1945.

Other Beta titles screening at the AFM include Philipp Stoelzl's Alpine mountaineering drama North Face; Hannes Stoehr's techno drama Berlin Calling; Umberto Pasolini's Machan, Marco Pontecorvo's Pa-Ra-Da, Hans Steinbichler's drama My Mother, My Bride and I; and Paolo Sorrentino's Cannes Jury Award winner Il Divo.
