Benjamin Walker and Teresa Palmer will star in the psychological thriller 2:22 that Good Universe is introducing to buyers on the Croisette.

Lightstream Picture’s Paul Currie will direct from an original screenplay he co-wrote with Todd Stein and Nathan Parker and Currie.

Walker plays a man whose life is permanently derailed when an ominous pattern of events repeats itself every day, ending at precisely 2:22 pm. He must solve the mystery to protect the woman he loves.

Filming will begin in October on location in Australia.

Pandemonium’s Bill Mechanic produces alongside Walk The Walk Entertainment’s Steve Hutensky and Currie.

The trio recently teamed up on The Moon And The Sun starring Pierce Brosnan, which is currently shooting in Melbourne. Good Universe represents international rights on that title too.

Garrett Kelleher of Lightstream and Jackie O’Sullivan are executive producing.

“Working with Bill, Steve and Paul On The Moon And The Sun has been such an incredible experience and we are thrilled to introduce their next project to the marketplace,” said Good Universe’s Helen Lee Kim. “There’s real appetite for smart thrillers with sexy cast like 2:22.”
