SuperFast! is the latest spoof from the team behind Meet the Spartans and Vampires Suck.

The Fast and Furious franchise is getting the spoof treatment in a new film that has already been sold to several major territories by K5 International.

SuperFast! sends up fast cars, fast women and wooden acting, aping the six blockbusters in the Fast and Furious series.

Written and directed by duo Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, it is produced and fully financed by long time collaborator Peter Safran of The Safran Company (Scary Movie, Buried and Vehicle 19, the latter of which K5 is also selling).

K5 has already sold SuperFast! to Russia (Volga), Germany (Wild Bunch), Italy (Lucky Red), Middle East (Falcon) and Latin America (Sun).

K5 International co-founders Oliver Simon and Daniel Baur said: “Jason and Aaron will drive audiences crazy with this latest parody.  It’s a franchise that’s crying out for some high octane comedy collisions and these are the guys to get a speeding ticket doing it.”

Friedberg and Seltzer have delivered four spoofs as writers/directors – Date Movie, Epic Movie, Meet the Spartans and Vampires Suck – which have accumulated a worldwide box office of more than $350m, according to K5.
