Universal Pictures International (UPI) has boarded UK and Irish rights to Lone Scherfig’s drama Posh, which now has The Hunger Games’ Sam Claflin, Great Expectations’ Douglas Booth and The Host’s Max Irons confirmed to star.
HanWay handles sales on the production from Blueprint Pictures’ Graham Broadbent and Pete Czernin. The shoot gets underway in June.
Based on the hit West End play by Laura Wade, Posh follows two students at Oxford University who join the Riot Club - a fictionalised version of infamous drinking gang The Bullingdon Club - where reputations can be made or destroyed in a single evening.

Blueprint’s Czernin added: “Laura has written a play that is very funny, clever and timely, and we’re excited that Lone will be directing a cast that is the best of British.”
