Gabriele Muccino has come on to direct the 2012 Blacklist screenplay Fathers And Daughters, which Voltage Pictures has introduced to buyers.

Brad Desch wrote the screenplay about a Pulitzer-winning writer who wrestles with being a widower and father after a mental breakdown. Twenty-seven years later his grown-up daughter struggles to forge connections of her own.

Sherryl Clark developed the screenplay with Desch as one of the first projects under her new Busted Shark Productions.

Voltage Productions and Busted Shark Productions will produced

Craig J Flores and Nicolas Chartier of Voltage Productions produce with Clark. Voltage’s Babacar Diene oversees for Voltage.

Muccin’s credits include Seven Pounds and The Pursuit Of Happyness.
