Both events will take place in Utah, with the Labs set for Jul 18-22 and the Summit taking place from Jul 22-24.
The projects and producing fellows for the Creative Lab participants are: Danielle DiGiacomo (Ad Inexplorata), James M Johnston and Toby Halbrooks (Ain’t Them Bodies Saints), Melissa Lee (The Maglev Story), Kim Sherman (One & Two), Lacey Leavitt (Sadie), Alison Klayman (Ai Wei Wei: Never Sorry), Cecily Pingree and Jason Mann (Betting The Farm), Lisa Remington (Cesar’s Last Fast), Alastair Siddons (JR: Inside Out) and Kavita Pillay (My Good Name Is Stalin).
The Creative Producing Summit is a three-day, invitation-only gathering for 40 independent filmmakers and 30 top independent film professionals. Events include case study sessions, panels, round table discussions and one-on-one meetings.
Attending professionals include Josh Braun of Submarine, Liesl Copland of William Morris Endeavor, Eric d’Arbeloff of Roadside Attractions, Dan Steinman of CAA and Nancy Utley of Fox Searchlight.
