Momentum has acquired the UK rights to P.S. I LoveYou from Summit Entertainment and the UK and Spanish rights to Spring Break In Bosnia from QED.

Richard LaGravanese will direct the big-screenadaptation of the P.S. I Love You by Irish author Cecelia Ahern. Hilary Swank will star. ForrestGump's Wendy Finerman will produce.

The shoot will start in the autumn in New York andIreland. The romantic comedy is about a young widow whose husband sends herletters from the grave to help her get on with her life.

Momentum's VP of acquisitions Lara Thompsonnegotiated the deal at Cannes with Summit's David Garrett.

Warner Bros has US rights and Summit is handling allforeign sales.

Richard Shepard wrote and will direct Spring Break In Bosnia, which will star Richard Gere and Terrence Howard. The action-adventure about journalists looking for a missing Bosnian war criminal will shoot starting in September in Eastern Europe.

Mark Johnson, Scott Kroopf and Bill Block are producing.

Momentum's parent company Alliance Atlantis will handle Canadian rights and The Weinstein Company will distribute in the US. Momentum will release in the UK and its Spanish subsidiary Aurum will handle distribution there.

That deal was negotiated by Thompson with Kim Fox, QED's senior VP of worldwide sales.
