The appointee joined the studio in 2008 as senior vice-president of business affairs and previously served in a similar capacity at Our Stories Films and Marvel.
As executive vice-president Marshall will continue to negotiate development and production related deals for Columbia’s feature projects, including rights acquisition and personal services deals for talent.
Since joining Columbia he has overseen deals for The Bounty Hunter and Battle: Los Angeles and is currently overseeing business affairs on the upcoming Spider-Man reboot, Men In Black 3 and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo as well as Total Recall, which is now in development.
