EXCLUSIVE: Pirates of the Caribbean star boards sci-fi short, directed by Ayoub Qanir [pictured].

David Bailie has joined the cast of Artificio Conceal.

Directed by Ayoub Qanir, the sci-fi short centres on Marcus Green who wakes in an Interpol interrogation room to find his memories have been replaced and his identity lost.

Principal photography is set to begin in London this summer. It is produced by The Dark Matter of Love director Sarah McCarthy.

Bailie, who played Cotton in the Pirates of the Caribbean series, commented: “What attracted me to Artificio Coneal is that it sheds light on the shadowy structures of power that underpin our world.”

“It’s a great delight to be working with such a celebrated artist. I am truly looking forward to the Artificio adventure,” added Qanir, who has previously directed Koyakatsi and Human After All.
