Cinema Epoch to open Skirt Day in theatres in spring 2010

Cinema Epoch has acquired US rights to Jean-Paul Lilienfeld’s drama Skirt Day (La Journee De La Jupe) starring Isabelle Adjani.

Following a five-year hiatus Adjani returns as a rebellious teacher at a school for troubled children whose discovery of a gun in a student’s bag escalates into a hostage crisis.

Cinema Epoch president Gregory Hatanaka brokered the deal with Rezo Films head of international sales Sebastien Chesneau.

The Mascaret Films-Arte France-RTBF-Fontana Belgium Production premiered in Berlin.

Cinema Epoch will release the film theatrically in early spring 2010 as one of the first in its slate of arthouse theatrical releases.
