EXCLUSIVE: Toronto-based sales company Cinemavault has picked up international rights to crime drama La Run and western reboot Lawman.

Released by Lionsgate subsidiary Grindstone in the US, Lawman tells the story of a lone Mountie who must clean up the crime and corruption gripping a small town. Wyeth Clarkson directs.

La Run, directed by Demian Fuica, follows a straight-A student who agrees to pay off his father’s gambling debts by making dangerous drug runs. The film debuted at last year’s Montreal Film Festival.

Cinemavault’s vp acquisitions, Craig Morrow, negotiated the LA Run deal with Les Productions Fuica producer Leonardo Fuica. Morrow and Cinemavault managing director John Dunstan closed the Lawman deal with Jason Price andproducer Phillip Daniels of Travesty Productions.

Both films will be shopped at the EFM.
