HanWay Select has closed a slew of deals on its doc slate including a US deal for The Story of Film and multi-territory deals for Allen and Polanski docs.

HanWay Select has closed a slew of doc deals, including a US deal for Mark Cousins’ The Story of Film as well as a host of deals for Woody Allen: A Documentary and Roman Polanski: A Film Memoir.

Woody Allen: A Documentary, which screens today in Cannes Classics, has sold to France (Memento), Spain (Versus), UK (Soda), Switzerland (Agora), Russia (Yota Play), Latin America (PolarStar) and Japan (Cinema Rise).

Roman Polanski: A Film Memoir, which also screens in today in official selection has sold to Australia (Shock), Hong Kong (Edko Films), Latin America (PolarStar). Pathe handles France, Lucky Red, Italy and Studio Babelsberg, Germany.

Anton Corbijn: Inside Out has gone to Australia (Shock) and Hong Kong (Edko Films) while Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has to Travel journeys to Italy (Feltrinelli), Hong Kong (Edko Films) and Mark Cousins’ The Story of Film: An Odyssey is on its way to US (Music Box), Switzerland (Praesens Film), Hong Kong (Hong Kong), Czech Republic (Film Europe), Mexico (Canal 22), Sweden (SVT), Finland (YLE) and Norway (NRK).
