IFC Films will release Tom Six’s sequel The Human Centipede Part 2 (Full Sequence) through its IFC Midnight label in 2011.
Earlier this year IFC released The Human Centipede (First Sequence), Six’s first film in the series about a doctor who surgically joins three people’s digestive tracts.
The sequel storyline remains under wraps although it is understood there will be a new villain named Martin and the medical premise will be inaccurate.
The cinema closed at the end of February, amid concerns its Station Street location is to be rebuilt by a property developer.
First acquisitions include ‘Fremont’ and ‘Full Red River’.
