The director of Turistas, Dark Tide and Into The Blue will base the action on a screenplay by Kendall Lampkin. Voltage will commence pre-sales at the AFM next week.

Principal photography is set to commence in January 2012 on the story of the US Navy SEALs mission to kill Osama Bin Laden. Sony is also lining up a Bin Laden project that is being directed by Kathryn Bigelow from a screenplay by Mark Boal. Voltage chief Nicolas Chartier produced and sold international territories on Boal and Bigelow’s The Hurt Locker.

Code Name Geronimo is told from the perspective of a small contingent of SEALs and is described as a “gritty on-the-ground look inside their lives as tensions rise between them until they learn the identity of their latest target, code name: Geronimo.”

Stockwell is represented by Nicole Clemens at ICM and Lampkin by Adam Kolbrenner of Madhouse Entertainment.

Voltage’s AFM slate includes the serial killer project Frozen Ground from Emmett/Furla Films to star Nicolas Cage, John Cusack and Vanessa Hudgens, comedy Imogene starring Kristen Wiig, Annette Bening and Matt Dillon, and Summer At Dog Dave’s starring Morgan Freeman with Rob Reiner directing.
