Spanish outfit Vertice Sales has secured a number of deals on key titles ahead of Toronto, including Borja Cobeaga’s popular comedy Lovestorming (No Controles) to Venevision for the US.

Cobeaga’s film about a boy who tries to win back his girlfriend on New Year’s Eve before she leaves Spain for Germany has also been sold to LapTV for distribution in Latin America and Schroeder Media for Germany.

Vertice has also pre-sold the following films in production, Xavier Berraondo’s horror Psychophony, Miguel Larraya’s horror After Party, and Juan Martinez Marino’s comedy horror Game of Werewolves (Lobos de Arga), to Gulf Films for release in the Middle East.

Game of Werewolves, which has a strong team behind it, including Cell 211’s Vaca Films as co-producers and special effects guru Arturo Balseiro (Pan’s Labyrinth, The Wolfman) onboard, has also sold to Visicom for release in Indonesia and Malaysia.
