Legendary Entertainment has appointed the publishing and literary executive as vice president, literary affairs.
Kaufmann will be based in New York and pursue book adaptation opportunities for Legendary’s film, television and digital divisions.
She will report to Legendary evp of creative affairs Alex Garcia and evp of scripted development Peter Johnson.
Kaufmann arrives from Paris-based book publisher Calmann-Lévy, where she served as senior editor.
