Roskino yesterday announced seven new co-productions in development and pre-production, including projects with Adrien Brody, Alexei Uchitel and Tulpan director Sergei Dvortsevoy.

The new projects are Assignment (Rus-Ger-US-Swe) which has Adrien Brody and Gosha Kutsenko attached, from producers Marina Kozhevnikova Ravie, Marco Gilles, Maria Pazoukhine and director Neil Beill; My Litte One (Rus-Ger-Pol) from producer Sergei Dvortsevoy; Matilda Kshesinskaya (Rus) from producers Alexei Uchitel and Kira Saksaganskaya; 1961 (Rus-Ger) from producers Wladimir Dercho, Marco Gilles, Maria Pazoukhine, Marina Kozhevnikova Ravie and director Neil Beill; Labyrinth from producers Marina Kozhevnikova Ravie, Marco Gilles, Maria Pazoukhine (Rus-Ger); New California (Rus-China) from producer Sergey Kornikhi; and Sleeping Neighbourhood (Rus-Estonia) from producers Max Tuula, Masha Gavrilova.

Roskino MD Catherine Mtsitouridze said: “The focus for Roskino is to bring international awareness to Russian cinema so we are excited to announce these seven co-productions in collaboration with some of Russia’s most established and upcoming talent.”
