Wonderphil Productions has acquired international sales, excluding UK and Ireland, to Love Tomorrow.

Christopher Payne’s Raindance Festival award-winner stars professional ballet dancers in the lead roles - Cindy Jourdain and Arionel Vargas - and centres on a chance meeting between two troubled dancers.

Producer Stephanie Moon commented: “We are thrilled about our partnership with Wonderphil. The film is essentially a love story and aimed at fans of the ‘boy meets girl’ genre, but the hook has always been dance.

“Dance has become such an important and popular part of our culture, not just here in the UK but worldwide and I know that we all understand this.”

Wonderphil’s Phil Gorn added: “I loved the film and I know it will do well internationally. The leads are attractive, the story is ultimately uplifting, and it’s not dialogue driven – which should appeal to non-English speakers.

“A lot of dance movies out there deliver on the choreography but not on the story, Love Tomorrow isn’t just beautiful and charming, it also delivers emotionally,” added Gorn.

Wonderphil Productions will be at the Cannes Market.
