German production house Pandora Filmproduktion, producer of Indian director Pan Nalin 2002 feature debut Samsara, are to team up again for his next project Valley Of Flowers which is set to go into production in the Himalayas, Tokyo and a Cologne studio from summer 2004.

Currently budgeted at around Euros 4m and likely to also involve Samsara's co-production partners Fandango of Italy and Paradis Films of France, Valley Of Flowers is a love story based on a Himalayan legend between a bandit and a young woman spanning a time scale from the early 19th century to the hectic hustle and bustle of modern-day Tokyo.

Valley Of Flowers was among the 24 feature film and documentary projects pitched at Filmstiftung NRW's MADE IN NRW International Coproduction Meeeting in Cologne from June 21-23.
