Universal Pictures Internataional Entertainment, the international home entertainment division of NBC Universal, has announced several staffing changes in its London-based management team.

Melanie Nicholas has been promoted to senior vice president, marketing. In addition to her current responsibilities for International Licensees and Russia, she will now also lead international marketing initiatives for home entertainment outside the US. Egor Borisov, Managing Director of Universal Pictures Russia, will continue to report to her.

Nicholas had been Vice President, Licensees & Emerging Markets and she set up Universal Pictures Russia.

Wayne Borg, executive vice president, commercial, will relinquish his leadership of marketing, sales and digital in UPIE to relocate with his family to Australia at the end of the year.

John Revill, vice president, sales, will now report directly to Eddie Cunningham, president of UPIE.

Also, Clare Edwards has been promoted to vice president, international licensees, and will be responsible to all interanational home entertainment licensing activity. Dewards, who has been working in the Licensee division for the past four years, reports to Nicholas. .

Finally, Pancho Perez is promoted to chief financial officer for UPIE, reporting to Cunningham and Christy Rupert Shibata. He replaces Carlos Domenech, who is leaving Universal. He had been financial controller for UPIE.
