New York-based production and sales company Visit Films has acquired
international rights to Joe Swanberg's Hannah Takes The Stairs, which
will screen at the 2007 London Film Festival.

Filmscience's Anish Savjani produced the story of a post-graduate
heartbreaker and the various love interests she encounters over the
course of a long hot summer.

Greta Gerwig, Mark Duplass, Kent Osborne and Andrew Bujalski star in
the film, which premiered at SXSW and will be released in North
America through IFC First Take.

'We couldn't have found a better film to include in our initial sales
slate,' Visit Films partners Ryan Kampe and Sylvain Tron said. 'As a
new sales company trying to bring the best in American cinema to the
international marketplace, Hannah Takes The Stairs is a dream project.

'Joe Swanberg and the whole team on the film have created a truly
unique and emotionally mesmerising film that exemplifies the current
American mumblecore/DIY movement.'

Visit Films' 2007 AFM sales slate includes Choking Man and the Viking
epic Severed Ways: The Norse Discovery Of America.
