WoodyAllen has cast Hayley Atwell, one of Screen International's 2006 Stars ofTomorrow, to star opposite Ewan McGregor, ColinFarrell and Tom Wilkinson in his next film.

TheUntitled Woody Allen Project will behis third consecutive film to shoot in London following Match Point and Scoop, which both starred ScarlettJohansson.

"There'sa girl I'm hoping to discover named Hayley Atwell whoI think is very, very beautiful and I am going to present her so you can seewhat I am talking about," Allen told the Hollywood Foreign Press Association."You can share my enjoyment of her."

Atwellstudied acting at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She has previouslydone theatre and TV work, including a breakout role in the BBC's adaptation of The Line Of Beauty.She is also filming two more BBC television projects, The Ruby In TheSmoke and Fear Of Fanny. She toldScreen International: "I'mclassically trained so theatre will always be important to me, but I want to doserious films - films with a dark edge."

Allenwill shoot the film in London this summer with a budgetof $20.7m, after abandoning earlier plans to shoot in Paris. Wild Bunch is handlingsales on the film and is co-producing with its new acquisitions arm VirtualFilms.

The story follows two brotherswith financial problems who are persuaded by a third party to turn to a life ofcrime. Wild Bunch's Vincent Maraval said in Cannes, "It's a romantic comedy sort of like MatchPoint with some Hitchcock thrown in."

Letty Aronson, Stephen Tenenbaumand Gareth Wiley are producing with Maraval, BenjaminWaisbren and Daniel Wuhrmannserving as executive producers.
