Fresh from its world premiere at Sundance, Banksy’s hit documentary Exit Through The Gift Shop will screen out of competition in Berlin this month.
The film, which is being released in the UK on March 5 through Revolver, chronicles the enigmatic urban artist’s amusing friendship with ambitious French videographer Thierry Guetta.
Hidden in shadow and speaking through a voice modifier, Banksy recounts Guetta’s wild desire to become a street artist himself under the pseudonym Mr Brainwash.
Rhys Ifans narrates Exit Through The Gift Shop. Jaimie D’Cruz produced and Holly Cushing and James Gay-Rees served as executive producers.
The film’s world premiere in Park City took place on January 24. Cinetic holds worldwide rights.
