Arclight Films has signed on to handle two features projects from TV company Rainmark Films: Oliver Hirschbiegel’s WWI drama The Guns Of August and comedy Woolly Faces.

The Guns Of August will star Helena Bonham Carter, Charles Dance and Emilia Clarke. Carter will play her real-life relative Margot Asquith in the story that takes place in the summer of 1914. Production is set to commence in early 2015.

Pearse Elliott directs Woolly Faces, a semi-autobiographical coming-of-age story set in West Belfast in 1981.

Paula Malcomson, Ciaran Hinds and Michelle Fairley star on the film, set to kick off later this year.
