Jason Alexander and Judith Light have joined the cast of RobertCary's comedy Ira & Abby: A Divorce Comedy, which began principal photography inNew York last month.
Based on a screenplay by Kissing Jessica Stein writer and star Jennifer Westfeldt, Ira& Abby charts thefall-out of an impulsive marriage between a neurotic loner and a free-spirit.
Alexander will play Abby's therapist and Light will play Ira'smother. Westfeld stars as Abby and Chris Messina plays Ira.
Frances Conroy, Fred Willard, Robert Klein, Donna Murphy andSaturday Night Live's Darrell Hammond and Chris Parnell round out the cast.
BreakoutPictures' Brad Zions is producing, as he did on Kissing Jessica Stein. Jennifer Todd, Ilana Levine andWestfedlt are serving as executive producers.
