Artificial Eye has snapped up UK rights to Sally Potter’s new untitled drama from The Match Factory.
Elle Fanning, Alice Englert, Alessandro Nivola, Christina Hendricks and Annette Bening star in Potter’s anticipated coming of age story set against the backdrop of the Cold War and the 1960’s sexual revolution.
The deal was negotiated by Louisa Dent for Artificial Eye and Brigitte Suárez for The Match Factory, which had already pre-sold to Australia (Transmission), Scandinavia (Future Film) and Germany (Concorde).
Producers are Adventure Pictures, British Film Institute and BBC Films in association with The Match Factory, Ingenious, Media House Capital, the Danish Film Institute and Miso Film.
The Match Factory is showing a first promo trailer in Cannes.
