The distributor has acquired North American rights to Saverio Costanzo’s Hungry Hearts from Mimi Steinbauer’s international sales agent Radiant Films International.

The film receives its market premiere on November 5 and stars Venice Coppa Volpi winners Adam Driver and Alba Rohrwacher in the tale of a newly married man who realises his germophobic wife poses a threat to their baby.

Mario Gianani and Lorenzo Mieli of Wildside produced with Rai Cinema. Executive producers are Louis Tisné, Riccardo Neri, Olivia Sleiter and Chris Marsh.

Hungry Hearts premiered at Venice and received its North American premiere in Toronto.

Arianna Bocco negotiated the deal with Steinbauer on behalf of the filmmakers.
